Our Burdock Root Tincture is an herbal preparation made from the fresh root of the burdock plant (Arctium Lappa), grown on a neighbouring property, infused in vodka for at least eight weeks. It has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine and is powerful both for internal and external use.

•     Diuretic.

•     Internally promotes the body’s natural ability to remove accumulated waste and toxins.

•     Supports the body’s natural digestive functions.

•     Externally supports skin health during times of skin inflammation, infections and eruptions.

Suggested Use:

Shake well. In herbal medicine, externally, it’s rubbed on for wrinkles, eczema, acne, and psoriasis. Internally, 0.5-1 ml is taken in a little amount of water as needed for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and ant-oxidant properties, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Cautions & Warnings: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family, or related plants. Burdock root may affect blood sugar levels and has blood thinning properties. Stop using burdock root at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.

Sediment is natural. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and electronics.

This tincture will be good for five years after purchase date.
