Our Chicory Root Tincture is an herbal preparation made from the fresh root of the chicory plant (Cichorium Intybus), grown on a neighbouring property, infused in vodka for at least eight weeks. It has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine and is powerful for internal use.

·     Internally supports the body’s natural immune system functions during times of combating sinus infections.

·     Supports the body’s natural liver function and detoxification process.

·     Supports the body’s natural ability to synchronize blood sugar levels.

·     Supports the body’s natural ability to combat the reproduction of certain parasites and worms.

Suggested Use:

Shake well. In herbal medicine, internally, 0.5-1 ml is taken in a little amount of water as needed for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Cautions & Warnings: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family, or related plants. Chicory root can trigger the production of bile, so those who suffer from gallstones should not use it. Chicory root may affect blood sugar levels and has blood thinning properties.

Sediment is natural. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and electronics.

This tincture will be good for five years after purchase date.
